The best Shopify themes for jewellery stores
Jewellery is sold on detail at a size the shopper cannot see. The theme's job is to get out of the way of the photograph and then hold a metal choice, a stone choice and a size without turning the product page into a form.
10 themes, ordered by us. 8 of them are filed by Shopify under jewelry and accessories; the other 2 are here anyway and each one says where Shopify puts it. Plus 1 sold elsewhere that Shopify never lists. Prices, satisfaction scores, feature lists and theme store ids are Shopify's own, read from each theme's page on 12 September 2026. The apps at the end are a separate section and it says which of them we build.
Short answer: Xclusive is the theme we would put most jewellery store on, and Flawless is the highest rated at 100 per cent. For a free one, start on Craft. No theme links metals that are separate products, which is what Rubik Combined Listings, built by Craftshift, does in one swatch row. Free for five groups, 5.0 from 91 reviews.
What to look for in a Shopify theme for jewellery
The five things that decide whether a catalogue like this works, in the order they bite.
- Zoom that works. A ring photographed at 2000 pixels is wasted behind a gallery that serves it small.
- Restraint. Jewellery pages sell on white space, and a theme that fills every gap with a badge is working against the product.
- Two or three option rows without clutter, which means checking the theme carries Shopify's Product options feature.
- Somewhere for the specification. Carat, dimensions, metal purity and care instructions are the questions that stop an order.
- Trust signals near the price, because the average order value is high and the buyer is often new to the brand.
The 10 best Shopify themes for jewellery stores
The order is not our opinion. Each theme is placed on the lowest satisfaction rate its review count actually supports, so a theme at 100 per cent across twelve reviews sits below one at 96 per cent across two hundred, which is the right way round. The two most reviewed themes in the category are always on the page wherever that calculation puts them. Prices, scores, feature lists and theme store ids are Shopify's own, and each name links to its demo in the Shopify Theme Store.

Xclusive
$150Shopify satisfaction 98% across 170 reviews
Highly customizable for every industry that embraces remarkable design How Someone You Know describes it
The best value on this page by a distance: 55 features, more than any theme here except Edge, at 98 per cent across 170 reviews and less than half the price of Broadcast. Someone You Know built it to be customised rather than to impose a look.

Atlantic
$300Shopify satisfaction 96% across 226 reviews
Elegant design to showcase high-quality visuals and boost sales How Pixel Union describes it
Pixel Union sell it on showing high quality visuals, which is the whole job in jewellery, and it holds 96 per cent across 226 reviews. The shortest feature list here at 30 entries: no Combined listing, no Image hotspot, no Collection page navigation. A deliberately plain theme, and for a small catalogue of expensive pieces that is a feature.

Flawless
$320Shopify satisfaction 100% across 45 reviews
Create Irresistible Experiences, Drive Impulse Impact. How Ascend Themes describes it
A perfect satisfaction score across 45 reviews and 55 features, which is an unusual combination. Ascend Themes built it around impulse buying, which fits accessories better than it fits fine jewellery, so read the demo before you decide which half of the category you are in.

Broadcast

Powerful, feature rich and designed to incentivize sales. How Presidio describes it
The largest review base of any theme Shopify files under jewelry and accessories, 281 of them at 95 per cent. Presidio sell it on conversion features, and the 45 feature list carries Product options, Image hotspot and Pre-order. It does not carry Combined listing.

Paper
$320Shopify satisfaction 96% across 53 reviews
For large-catalog storefronts How Brickspace Lab describes it
Brickspace Lab wrote it for large catalogue storefronts, which in jewellery means a catalogue browsed by metal, stone and size rather than one browsed by looking. 52 features including Swatch filters and Pre-order, at 96 per cent across 53 reviews.

Beyond

Edge
$340Shopify satisfaction 100% across 20 reviews
Boost sales & conversion with elegant, versatile theme & smart nav. How OranThemes describes it
The longest feature list of any theme across these pages, 57 entries, and a perfect satisfaction score. The review base is 20, so the score is thin evidence and the feature list is not. OranThemes sell it on navigation, which is the part of a jewellery catalogue that usually goes wrong.

Craft
FreeShopify satisfaction 57% across 49 reviews
A refined theme that celebrates craftsmanship. How Shopify describes it
Free, from Shopify. Shopify built it, and the feature list runs to 26 entries. It does not carry Image hotspot and Combined listing. Shopify files it under home rather than jewelry and accessories, so this placement is ours: every page needs an answer to the free question and this one has no free theme of its own.

Dawn
FreeShopify satisfaction 35% across 287 reviews
A minimalist theme that lets product images take center stage. How Shopify describes it
287 reviews, more than anything else here, and 35 per cent of them positive. Shopify built it, and the feature list runs to 27 entries. Worth checking before you buy: no Image hotspot and Combined listing. 35 per cent is the kind of score worth reading the reviews behind rather than taking at face value. Shopify files it under bags rather than jewelry and accessories, so this placement is ours: every page needs an answer to the free question and this one has no free theme of its own.

Which Shopify theme by catalogue size
How many pieces you sell changes the answer more than what the pieces are.
- Under ten pieces. A free theme and everything else into the macro photography.
- Eleven to a hundred. The mid priced themes here, where the imagery does the selling and the theme keeps out of the way.
- Hundreds of pieces. Pick one written for a large catalogue, because browsing by metal, stone and size is the whole job at that size.
Jewellery themes that are not in the Shopify Theme Store
Sold elsewhere, so Shopify publishes no satisfaction score for them, they carry no theme store id, and they never appear in the Theme Store's own filters. They are worth knowing about anyway, and the app supports them by name.
-
No Shopify score, no theme store id
Sold by HaloThemes outside the Shopify Theme Store, so Shopify publishes no satisfaction score, no feature list and no theme store id for it. The app supports it by name.
Shopify jewellery themes compared
Every theme on this page in one table. Everything in it is Shopify's own, including the industry word: each theme page carries a carousel headed with one industry, and that is the word printed here. It exposes one of a theme's industries rather than all of them, so it is good evidence for a placement and weak evidence against one.

What the Shopify Theme Store filter does not tell you
The Theme Store filters by industry and by feature, and both are useful right up to the point where a shopper has to choose a finish. Three things it cannot tell you, and all three decide whether a jewellery store storefront works.
A swatch on a product card is not the same feature as a swatch on a product page
A theme that shows colour swatches on a collection card is showing the variants of that one product. It has no way to know that four other products belong with it. Split a ring into four metals and those card swatches go blank, on every theme, including every theme the Theme Store filter says has colour swatches.
Several of these themes are the same theme underneath
Shopify's newer first party themes share a runtime. A fix that works on Horizon works on Atelier, Tinker, Savor, Fabric, Ritual, Dwell, Vessel, Heritage and Pitch, because underneath they are one codebase. The older free set behaves the same way around Dawn. Choosing between two themes in the same family is a choice about layout, not about capability, and no filter will tell you which family a theme belongs to.
The satisfaction score and the price answer different questions
A free theme collects reviews from everybody who found Shopify hard, so its score runs low. A paid theme is chosen deliberately by somebody who had a budget, so its score runs high. Reading either number on its own tells you about the buyer rather than about the theme, which is why the demo store matters more than both.
The best Shopify apps for jewellery stores
Craftshift builds 5 of the apps below, which is why they are here and why this is not a survey of the category. Viking Watermark & Anti Theft is not ours and its entry says whose it is. The first two solve the problem a jewellery store theme cannot solve on its own; the rest are the catalogue work that comes with it. Ratings and review counts are read from each listing rather than typed in, so they are current.
What metal swatches change on a Shopify jewellery store
A collection page without swatches asks the shopper to open a product to find out what metals it comes in. With swatches on the card, the metal choice happens in the grid, and a shopper who wanted a different one never has to go back. That is the whole mechanism, and it is why a jewellery store with a wide metals range gets more out of this than a catalogue of one-offs.
The SEO part, which is the reason to keep the products separate
Merging metals into one product throws away a page. Kept separate, every metal keeps its own URL, its own title, its own description and its own images, so each one can rank and be indexed on its own terms and each one can be the landing page for the search that names it. Grouping them does not undo any of that: no URL is created, changed or redirected, and the products stay exactly where they were in the catalogue and in Google. The swatch row is added on top.
How it renders, and why that matters on a theme you paid for
The swatches are drawn in a shadow root, so the theme's own CSS and the app's cannot reach into each other and a theme update cannot break them. The data is read from Shopify metafields with the page rather than fetched afterwards, so there is no second request and no flash of an unstyled picker. Selectors are mapped for 358 themes, including themes sold outside the Theme Store and every page builder we support, and an unmapped theme usually works on the generic selectors anyway.
Grouping a catalogue that already exists
Nobody wants to build three hundred groups by hand. Bulk grouping reads the catalogue as it is and builds them from a title pattern, from product tags or from a metafield, so a ring in four metals becomes one group without anyone opening a product. Where an option value or a swatch colour is missing, the AI fill reads the product image and the titles around it and fills only the blanks, never over something already set.
-
Rubik Variant Images
The core one for jewellery. Metal and stone changes are the whole product, so a shopper choosing rose gold needs the rose gold photographs, and this filters the gallery to the selection rather than showing all of them at once.
-
Rubik Combined Listings
For catalogues where each metal is its own product with its own price, which is normal in fine jewellery. It links them into one swatch row on the product page and under every product card.
-
CS Smart Bulk Image Upload
Jewellery photography runs to several macro shots per piece. This uploads a batch straight from Google Drive or Dropbox instead of one at a time.
-
CS Export Product Images
Pulls the images back out in bulk, which is what a catalogue, a stockist pack or a marketplace feed needs.
-
CS Bulk Delete Products
For clearing a retired collection with its variants and images in one pass.
-
Viking Watermark & Anti Theft
Not ours, and here because macro jewellery photography is expensive to shoot and trivial to copy. Built by Aegis. It watermarks product images in bulk with a logo or a label and blocks right click saving.
See it on a live demo store Read the documentation Pricing and plans Merchant reviews Every theme we support
Picking between the two is the thing merchants get wrong most often, and it comes down to how the catalogue is built rather than to the theme. If the metals are variants of one product, you want variant image filtering on the product page. If each one is a separate product, you want grouping, and our guide to grouping products as variants walks through the difference with screenshots of both.
Shopify themes for jewellery stores: questions merchants ask
What is the best Shopify theme for a jewellery store?
Xclusive is our pick for most jewellery stores. Shopify files it under jewelry and accessories, its feature list runs to 55 entries, and it holds 98 per cent positive across 170 reviews. If you would rather have the highest rated theme on the list, that is Flawless at 100 per cent. Neither one is free. Craft is the strongest free option and the right place to start when the budget is going into photography instead.
What is the best free Shopify theme for a jewellery store?
2 of the themes on this page cost nothing: Craft, Dawn. All of them are built and maintained by Shopify itself. Dawn carries the longest feature list of them at 27 entries against 26 for the shortest, and Craft holds the highest satisfaction score among them at 57 per cent. A free theme is a real answer for a catalogue under about fifty pieces and a temporary one above it.
How much does a Shopify theme for a jewellery store cost?
Paid Shopify themes are a one off licence rather than a subscription, and the ones on this page run from $150 to $420. That buys the theme for one store, permanently, including updates. Free themes cost nothing and are not crippled versions: the Shopify defaults are built and maintained by Shopify itself.
Why do the free Shopify themes have such low ratings?
Because a free theme is the one every new store starts on, so its reviews come from everybody who found Shopify hard rather than from people who chose it deliberately. A paid theme is picked by somebody with a budget and a plan, and it scores accordingly. Read the score as a rough signal, then judge the theme on its demo store.
How do I show metal and stone options on a Shopify jewellery store?
It depends on how the catalogue is built. If the metals are variants of one product, the theme's own variant picker handles the choosing and Rubik Variant Images filters the gallery so the rose gold shows only rose gold photographs. If each metal is its own product, no theme can link them, and Rubik Combined Listings puts them in one swatch row on the product page and under every product card. It is 5.0 stars across 91 App Store reviews and five product groups are free with no time limit.
Can I show every metal on a jewellery store collection page?
Only if something links the products. Shopify shows swatches on a product card when the options are variants of that one product, and shows nothing at all when each metal is a separate product, which is how many fine jewellery catalogues are built. That gap is not a theme setting and no theme on this page closes it.
Which Shopify apps does a jewellery store need?
Fewer than the App Store would like. A catalogue like this usually needs something for metal and stone options, something for delivery and returns, and a review app. Craftshift builds two of the first kind: Rubik Combined Listings links separate metal products into one swatch row, and Rubik Variant Images filters the gallery when the metals are variants of one product. Both have free plans. The app list on this page is ours, which we say plainly rather than presenting it as a survey of the category.
Does changing theme break my swatches or product groups?
The groups survive, because they live on the products rather than in the theme. What does not survive is the app embed: it is switched on per theme, so a newly published theme starts with it off and the storefront quietly renders an ungrouped catalogue with no error anywhere. Switching it on in the theme editor brings everything back exactly as it was.
What is a Shopify theme store id and where do I find mine?
It is the number Shopify gives every theme sold in its Theme Store, and it is what an app matches on to know which layout it is looking at. Open your storefront, open the browser developer console and type Shopify.theme.theme_store_id. A theme bought outside the Theme Store returns null, which is correct rather than broken. The id for each theme on this page is printed next to its name.
How is this list put together?
The prices, satisfaction scores and theme store ids are Shopify's own, read from each theme's page in the Shopify Theme Store on 12 September 2026, and you can check any of them there in a few seconds. Which themes appear, and in what order, is our editorial judgement rather than a measurement, and we say so rather than dressing an opinion up as data.
For a jewellery store on Shopify, Xclusive is our pick and Flawless carries the highest satisfaction score Shopify publishes for any theme on this list, 100 per cent. 2 of the 10 themes here are free, so the theme licence is rarely the thing standing in the way. What none of them does is show a metal on a collection card when each one is a separate product, which is the gap Rubik Combined Listings fills. Prices, scores and theme store ids read from the Shopify Theme Store on 12 September 2026.
